If you have any questions, please contact ski club coordinator Kim Boland at 208-818-2643. Do not call the school office for information regarding the ski club.
Thank you for your interest in NICS Ski Club! This packet contains information needed to participate in the ski trips; please read it carefully and complete all necessary forms.
The following forms are in the ski club packet and must be completed, signed by a parent, and returned before your first trip (Kim Boland will keep the release forms on file for future trips). If the forms are not filled out or signed by a parent, you will not be able to participate.

- 3 NICS Ski Club Sign Up 2015 – This form, also found on the clip board outside the school office, is required for EACH trip. All participants (family & friends are welcome to attend) must sign up by the Tuesday before the trip – NO LATE SIGN-UPS ALLOWED. All Ski Club trips are dependent upon the weather and having at least 20 paying participants.

We will meet at school on Fridays 7:00 a.m. Departure is at 7:15 a.m. sharp! Don’t be late or you’ll miss the bus and may not be able to get a refund. We will meet upon arrival at Schweitzer to pick up rental equipment and lift tickets. Lessons begin at 11:30 a.m. sharp. If you will not be taking the bus, please arrive at Schweitzer in plenty of time to meet with the ski club leader to get your lift pass and join the group lesson. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST TAKE A LESSON EACH TRIP. This is a requirement by Schweitzer to obtain our group rates. If you go with the ski club, you take a lesson – no exceptions. If you must cancel at the last minute because of an emergency, the ski club lead must be notified before departure. If notification is not made in time, your lift pass will be purchased and a refund will not be possible. Rentals are to be checked in at 3:45 p.m. Departure from Schweitzer is 4:00 p.m. Parents please be at the school promptly at 5:30 p.m. – do not wait for your child to call for a ride.
The buddy system is required, if you don’t have a ski/snowboard buddy, let the leader know and you will be matched with one. Anyone grade 6 and below must be accompanied by an adult.
We need 1-2 parents that would be willing to stay in the lodge and be available as a point of contact person for our group.
