Vision Statement

North Idaho Christian School is committed to receiving and expressing God’s love offered to us through Jesus Christ, while developing students with thoroughly Christian minds.

Mission Statement

North Idaho Christian School’s mission is to transform our community by reflecting Christ’s love.  We do this by coming alongside Christian parents who desire to provide a biblcally centered learning environment for their children.  Our objective is to win, train, and empower disciples of Jesus Christ, enabling each student to reach his or her full potential spiritually, academically, socially, and physically.

Core Values

TRUTH

We believe THE TRUTH.  Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life.  No on can come to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6) We are a people that firmly stand on the foundation of Christ and the TRUTH that exists in Him.  The world is full of many distractions that would keep us from knowing the TRUTH, but Jesus says if we remain faithful to His teachings we will know the TRUTH, and the TRUTH will set us free.  Nothing other than the TRUTH will set us free. (John 8:31-32; John 17:4, 17-19; Ephesians 1:7, 4:21-24; II Timothy 3:16)

MISSION

We live ON MISSION. “…And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, ‘How beautiful are teh fee of the messengers who bring good news.'” (Romans 10:14-15)  We live on MISSION, taking the love and the truth of Christ into the world around us.  God calls us to be a blessing because we are so richly blessed.  (Genesis 12:2-3)  We are led and empowered by the Holy Spirit to be Christ’s ambassadors everywhere we go. (Acts 1:8) We live on MISSION because Christ lived on MISSION, “Healing the broken-hearted and setting the captives free.” (Luke 4:18-19; Isaiah 58:6-12; John 21:15-17; II Corinthians 5:20; Revelation 12:11)

COMMUNITY

We live IN COMMUNITY.  “So now I am giving you a new commandment:  Love each other.  Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.  Your love for one another will prove to the world that your are my disciples.” (John 13:34-35) Jesus prayed that we would be on even as He and the Father are one. (John 17:20-23) God is relational and has extended that deep desire in our hearts for Him and for one another.  People need to be connected to experience and to share His love.  We live in COMMUNITY, helping one another live out God’s design for our lives.  We edify, encourage, and challenge each other to live out our faith in Christ. This happens as we intentionally share live together through COMMUNITY Groups, serving, listening, praying, and building friendships with one another. (Hebrews 10:25; Acts 2:42-47, Romans 12:9-16; Galatians 6:9-10; Titus 2:1-7, 3:4-8, 14)

WORSHIP

We live TO WORSHIP.  “The time is coming – indeed it’s here now – when true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth.  The Father is looking for those who will worship Him that way.” (John 4:23)  As followers of Christ, we live to bring praise and honor to the One who gives us life.  More than a song we sing, our WORSHIP is a lifestyle or sacrifice, loving others, and exalting the name of God above all else – it is our Anthem to Christ (Romans 12:1; Hebrews 12:28; I Timothy 2:8; Psalm 100)

  • We believe Jesus Christ is the only Savior for the sins of the world, having shed His blood and died on a cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Those who put their trust in Christ are saved by grace as a gift from God. Ephesians 2:8-9
