This year, NICS is hosting the 3rd annual Feed the Need Event. This is a school wide fundraiser and will help NICS raise much-needed funds for our campus security upgrades and Phase 2 of our remodeling efforts. Many families have already joined us in the peer-to-peer fundraising campaign, culminating in a one-day Packing Party event. During the event, NICS students will live out the Great Commissions and personally make a difference as they pack, seal, and distribute over 10,000 meals to families in need in the Appalachian mountains.
The Feed the Need kick off party was a success. Thank you to everyone who gave their time, donated items, and came to launch the Feed the Need fundraiser.
Also, if we raise $50,000 the five kids who have raised the most money will get to egg Mrs. James during chapel! When we reach $75,000 Mrs. Grinnell will chase a greased piglet around the gym! And for the kid’s final incentive, upon reaching the $100,000 mark, each grade will pick one ingredient that will be mixed up into a milkshake for Mr. Booth to drink!
