Is financial aid available?

NICS is committed to enrolling students who desire to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. It is the goal of our school to help as many families as possible be able to afford a Christian education. We have partnered with Covenant Tuition Services (CTS) to process all applications for families requesting financial aid.

What curriculum is used at NICS?

The administration and staff evaluate our curriculum to see what best meets the needs of our students. Most, but not all, of our curriculum is from Christian Publishers. For example, we use Purposeful Design, Abeka, Bob Jones and more. Regardless of the curriculum used, all classes are taught from a Biblical Worldview and teachers are required to integrate the bible daily.

Does NICS encourage parent volunteers?

Each family is required to volunteer 15 hours per year. There are a variety of ways to do this from working at home to helping with our annual fundraiser.

Does NICS require students to wear uniforms?


Uniforms may be purchased from the following suppliers:

NICS has a consignment closet which is open Mondays all day and by appointment.

Uniform pants and shorts only may be purchased from the uniform department at Sears, Land’s End, and Old Navy and must be khaki, black, or navy blue in color.

What is the maximum class size?

Our 1st through 3rd grade classes are capped at 22 students. Grades 4 through 12 are capped at 23.

What are the school hours?

NICS holds classes Monday through Thursday. Students in grades1-3 attend from 8:30 to 3:30 and students in grades 4-6 are in classes from7:45 to 3:30. The secondary grades 7-12 are in school from 7:45 to 3:45.

Is NICS an accredited school?

Yes! We are accredited by the Association of Christian SchoolsInternational (ACSI). Association for Biblical Higher Education (ABHE), and AdvancEd.Additionally, the core high school courses have been approved by the NCAA. Allagencies are recognized by the United States Department of Education.

Does being accredited mean government agencies dictate what you teach?

Absolutely not! We are first and foremost a school dedicated to Jesus Christ and teaching from a biblical worldview. We will never compromise our beliefs.

Are the teachers at NICS certified?
